When the news broke of the ABG (American Brands Group) and Elvis Presley Enterprises, LLC Cease and Desist letter to stop performing Las Vegas Elvis Weddings, it became an international phenomenon. The staff, families, patrons and supporters of Vegas Weddings and Viva Las Vegas Weddings were rightfully distressed.

Elvis Weddings in Las Vegas have been a staple of our community's essence and economy for over 30 years, beginning with the May 1, 1967, Elvis Presley, and Priscilla Beaulieu wedding at the Aladdin Hotel.

The Las Vegas Wedding industry, along with city officials including Las Vegas Mayor, Carolyn Goodman, and the County Clerk, Lynn Goya have voiced the devastating effects this would have on the Las Vegas Wedding industry and tourism for a community just beginning its recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. It is with gratefulness we announce that we were contacted by legal representatives for ABG (American Brands Group) and Elvis Presley Enterprises, LLC to discuss amendments and changes to the Cease-and-Desist letters. It was always our hope that with proper attention and finesse, the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels affected by the May 20th, 2022, ABG Cease and Desist could negotiate an agreement favorable to all parties involved.

The management team of Vegas Weddings and Viva Las Vegas Weddings are pleased to announce Elvis has not left the building!

We are thankful to our local and international supporters who let the world know how important keeping Elvis weddings alive is to future generations. We feel it is important for our supporters to know ABG has offered a verbal apology. Vegas Weddings and Viva Las Vegas Weddings are currently in negotiations with the legal representatives of ABG (American Brands Group) over a resolution that will help keep the King a legendary fixture for all Las Vegas Wedding Chapels.
